What's with the hair?

I grew up afraid of the natural thickness of my hair, and lacked the confidence or wherewithall to cope with it. I used to mow it off for shear conventience, which led many people to believe I was in fact bald.

At some stage, three or more years ago, it became clear that my hair could sustain a ridiculous Johnny Bravo pompadour (and occasionally a flat top). It takes me 10 to 15 mins a day to sort the bugger out, but its worth it for all the compliments I get from shopkeepers and the like.
